
Greg Jarratt BSc, BVScGreg graduated from Massey University in 1995 and started work with Matamata Veterinary Services in early 2001 after returning from his O.E. Greg maintains a special interest in development and application of IT relative to animal health and farm economics.

Peter graduated from Massey University in 1981 and after working in Wairoa and Cambridge, came to Matamata Veterinary Services in 1989. Peter's vast range of clinical experience has generated a special interest in feed budgeting and herd nutrition.

Chris graduated from Massey University in 1976. Following 20 years in private dairy and companion animal practice. Chris joined MVS in September 2003.
Chris' enormous clinical experience means that he works in both the Small Animal and Farm teams where he maintains special interest in surgery, bovine medicine and veterinary ethics.
Chris was President of the New Zealand Veterinary Association in 2003-2005 and recieved the NZVA Long Service Medal in 2008.
Marit de Jong BVSc, BScMarit completed her veterinary degree at Massey University in 2005 and started her mixed practice career in Patea. After 3 1/2 years and a 6 month locum stint in Raetihi, she joined the MVS team in February 2010.
Marit enjoys the challenges that mixed practice brings and she and her husband are planning on staying in the Matamata District for the foreseeable future.

Susan graduated from Massey University in 2001 and started her mixed practice career in Eltham, in the heart of Taranaki, in a predominantly dairy practice. Heading overseas in 2004 she gained invaluable experience in a broad range of practice - dairy in Devon, and companion animals in London. Susan then returned home to the North Waikato in mixed practice for a few years before starting her family.
Susan and her family have now relocated to Matamata and she works part-time in both the small animal and farm teams.
