Lilly was successfully inseminated with frozen semen and is the proud mother of 9 puppies!!!!!

Lilly's owner was very pleased ....."a good outcome she had 6 boys, 3 girls, total 9.   All fit and healthy, 4 were breach, but she did well as we are all first timers at this.  Could you please pass on to the team well done" ....

Storm came to us for a fresh insemination (transcervical insemination) followed later by a natural mating.  She has 3 gorgeous puppies (2 female and 1 male) by c-section.  Mum and pups doing very well!!!!

This picture was sent in by her owner who said "Abbaye`s babies one week old". All babies are males. Fat little critters. All over double their birth weight. Mum doing well also. She is a great mum"

Belle seen here with her puppies "were born on the 27th October very early hours of the morning, we have 3 girls & 1 boy".  Belle had a vaginal insemination using fresh semen and her owners are very pleased with the result!  Well done Belle!

"Susan" seen here with her male puppy was inseminated with frozen thawed semen using the TCI (Transcervical Insemination) technique.  "Susan" went into labour and had an elective c-section, both "Susan" and pup are doing well.  Not to be outdone the family cat got in on the action too (as seen in the photo!).

Quilt was successfully inseminated with frozen-thawed semen (the semen was frozen in the early 90's) using the non-invasive transcervical insemination technique (TCI).  We are very pleased to hear her 7 puppies are doing well!  Well done Quilt!!

 

 

 

 

NZ Police's Venus with her puppies

Venus was inseminated by transcervical insemination using frozen thawed semen.  This semen was frozen in Australia by Dr Fiona Hollinshead and imported into New Zealand.  Venus naturally whelped 13 puppies - this is a huge number of puppies using frozen thawed semen.  We are all thrilled with this successful outcome!

Fiona Hollinshead works closely with the NSW Police Dog Unit as a breeding consultant.  She collects and freezes semen from valuable police dogs.  NZ and NSW work together to maintain their police dog genetics.

Porsche had two non-invasive intrauterine inseminations - transcervical insemination (TCI) using frozen thawed semen. 

She whelped naturally and we are told her 10 puppies are doing very very well!!!!

 

 

 

Mist's success with semen frozen in 1998Mist Mead

Mist was successfully inseminated using frozen thawed semen.  This semen was collected from an 11 year old stud dog and frozen back in 1998.  This is very exciting news for all involved.

Kara was successfully inseminated by transcervical insemination after being medically managed for a pyometra (pus in the uterus).  She delivered 4 males and 3 females by caesarian with five pups weighing in at over 500g the heaviest being 570g and two under 500g.  "A very happy ending many thanks to you (Fiona).  The  pups are all doing well at the moment and Kara is being an excellent attentive Mum"

Jazz was inseminated with Frozen semen and the successful result...... 5 gorgeous puppies (2 females and 3 males).

Cleo's owners kept us up to date with her progress and we were pleased to hear the successful outcome.

Merlo had a transcervical insemination using fresh semen.  She later had an ultrasound scan with us confirming she was pregnant which was great news for her owners.  Merlo had 4 healthy puppies (3 female and 1 male puppy).

Bazooka a Giant Schauzer was successfully inseminated with imported frozen semen and naturally whelped 12 puppies. This semen was very special and we are as delighted as the owners with this outcome.
