Farm services update (23.4.2020) for COVID-19, Heading into Alert Level 3

April 23, 2020

As we drop to alert level 3 next week, there will not be much in the way of change to how our Farm Services Team will operate.

The main focus is going to be for us to continue to provide a full range of services and products safely, ensuring we as a community and country have the best chance of eliminating COVID-19.

This means Vets and Veterinary Staff will continue to maintain safe social distancing practices while on farm and they will now also be required to note individuals they encounter on the job, albeit from a distance. This recording is designed to speed up any process of future contact tracing that may be required.

The retail area will remain closed to customers to reduce foot traffic and minimise person to person contact. We will continue to provide the same ‘order by phone and collection behind the clinic system’ currently operating now under Level-4.

We hope these measures we have put in place have minimised any disruption to our clients as we work through this process.

Thanks for your ongoing support and cooperation.
