Spore count results for grass samples brought into the clinic for testing this week are as follows:

• Hinuera East – Nil on 1.2.2017
• Hinuera West – 5,000 (low) on 31.1.2017
• Matamata – 10,000 (Tower Rd) 31.1.2017, Nil (racecourse area and Station Rd) on 1.2.2017
• Peria – Nil on 31.1.2017
• Richmond Downs – 5,000 (low) on 31.1.2017 and Nil on 01.02.2017
• Te Poi – Nil on 02.02.2017
• Tirau – 5,000 (low) on 1.2.2017 and Nil on 02.02.2017
• Wardville – 5000 (low) on 31.01.2017 and Nil on 02.02.2017

Counts continue to remain at low levels. this morning’s light rain could see counts rise rapidly if the weather becomes hot.
