Farewell to “Dodge”

After much consideration and deliberation the Small Animal team has decided it is in the best interest of  Dodge (our Rainbow Lorikeet)  to be rehomed.

Dodge is a very sociable bird and it has become increasingly evident that he needed much more stimulation and interaction than we could provide him, especially over busy periods in the clinic and over weekends and holidays.

We have found him a lovely home with a lady in Tirau who has many years experience with birds and had a great rapport with him immediately.

It was a very difficult decision for the team to make but we are sure it is best for Dodge.
