Heart Issues

August 16, 2021

Like in humans many of our pets develop heart problems during their lives, ranging from mild to severe. If we detect any concerns about your pets heart we can use cardiac ultrasound or x-ray to get more information and give the best advice for treatment. Some signs to watch out for are coughing, decreased exercise tolerance, fainting, collapsing, or distension of the abdomen. Preventative proactive treatment is the best way for us to manage heart disease so don’t put off getting a vet check if you are worried.
