Spore count of 265,000 taken today

Spore counts done just after the recent rain are even higher than before the rain. It is a myth that heavy rain washes spores away. If anything the opposite can happen, with moisture creating conditions ideal for fungal growth.

Some pasture is getting quite long, but we have observed quite a lot of dead plant material in the grass samples we have been processing. Therefore, continue with supplementation. Get those extra bullets in if you have reached the end of your initial 6-week protection as risk remains very high. We have seen clinical cases of Facial Eczema in the past week.
