Chris Hutchings | BVSc, MACVSc

Chris Hutchings graduated from Massey University and has been practising for over 30 years. He is a member of the Australasian College of Veterinary Scientists in small animal medicine, and is also a former president of the New Zealand Veterinary Association. In 2000 he was awarded the Companion Animal Society Service Medal, and in 2008 the New Zealand Veterinary Association Annual Service Award for services to the profession.

Chris had been a member of the MVS Small Animal team since 2003, and his special area of interest is surgery.

In June 2016 Chris left MVS to be closer to home so he could enjoy more time with his gorgeous granddaughter Tillie and his family.
